- Wi-Fi connectivity for remote scheduling
- Works with Alexa for voice commands
- Compact 12.6-inch width for tight spaces
Good fit for
You should choose this model if you have hard floors and low-pile carpets. The Tri-Brush System handles multi-surface debris effectively. Its 3.54-inch height lets it slide under most standard furniture. If you already use Alexa, the voice control integration adds convenience. This vacuum suits busy households that want scheduled cleaning without managing a dedicated smartphone app. It is ideal for those who prefer simple, reliable automated maintenance over advanced mapping features. The Wi-Fi connection ensures you can start it remotely if needed.
Who can skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need detailed room mapping or multi-floor support. The data does not mention LiDAR or camera-based navigation. You also should skip this if you require a dedicated mobile app for custom cleaning zones. The Wi-Fi feature allows basic connectivity, but it lacks the granular control of newer models. If you have high-pile carpets or heavy pet hair, the standard brush system may struggle compared to models with specialized rollers. Users who want real-time visual feedback of the cleaning path will find this option limited.
Verdict
The Shark ION AV753 offers basic automated cleaning with Alexa support and a multi-surface brush system. It is a solid choice for simple, scheduled maintenance on hard floors and low-pile carpets.
